It is well aware that Prakash Raj is a versatile artiste and he could don any kind of role with perfect ease. He has a passion for making films. He doesn’t want to be just an artiste but also had thoughts to produce good films.

He was making films in Tamil on his own banner. He had also proved himself as a successful producer too. At the same time he had an itch to wield the megaphone and had directed a Kannada film ‘Nanu Nanna Kanasu’ last year, but the film failed to be a hit on the expected lines.

Prakash Raj was born and brought up in Karnataka and had a good rapport with the film industry there too. He is again trying his hand in direction and is getting ready to direct another Kannada film titled ‘Swaroopa’ and he wanted to prove himself a successful director too.

The film with a different storyline would soon go to sets. It is also learnt that he is going to direct a Tamil film too.
